❄️ Homemade Fudgesicles 🍫
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Optional: mini chocolate chips or sprinkles for added texture
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Whisk continuously to break up any lumps and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Remove from heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract and let the mixture cool slightly. For faster cooling, place the saucepan in an ice bath or refrigerate for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
If desired, fold in mini chocolate chips or sprinkles for a fun crunch. Pour the cooled mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until completely solid.
To unmold, briefly run the outside of the molds under warm water to loosen the Fudgesicles. Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy chocolate bliss.
