**Ingredients:**

- 2 slices of bread or 1 sandwich roll

- 1 slice of cheddar cheese (optional)
- 2 slices of tomato (optional)
- 1-2 lettuce leaves (optional)
- Dash of hot sauce (optional)
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of salt
**Instructions:**
1. **Cook the bacon**: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lay the bacon slices flat in the pan and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
2. **Prepare the eggs**: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your preference: sunny-side-up for a gooey yolk or scrambled for a softer texture. Season with salt and pepper.
