Ingredients:
2 filet mignon or ribeye steaks, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp butter, 2 cloves garlic, smashed, 8 large shrimp, peeled & deveined, 2 tbsp butter, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped, 4 large potatoes, peeled & cubed, 50g (1/4 cup) butter, 100ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 3 tbsp butter, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped.
Directions:
1. Prepare the Steak: Preheat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat. Rub steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for doneness). Add butter and smashed garlic in the last minute, basting the steak.
2. Cook the Garlic Butter Shrimp: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp, salt, and black pepper, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
3. Make the Mashed Potatoes: Boil potatoes until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Mash with butter, heavy cream, salt, and garlic powder.
4. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and parsley.
5. Assemble & Serve: Plate mashed potatoes, then add steak on top. Spoon shrimp over the steak and drizzle with garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
