🍫 Homemade Fudgesicles ❄️
Ingredients
For the Chocolate Base:
1 ¾ cups whole milk (or oat milk for a dairy-free version)
½ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for extra richness)
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup finely chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips
½ cup pure maple syrup or honey
1 ½ tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
¼ tsp sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chocolate Mixture
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cocoa powder, cornstarch, and sea salt until well combined.
Slowly pour in milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
Place the saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring frequently.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate
Once the mixture is warm (but not boiling), add the chopped dark chocolate and maple syrup.
Continue stirring for 5-7 minutes until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 3: Cool & Pour
Let the mixture cool for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.
Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion.
Insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
Step 4: Freeze & Serve
Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until the fudge bars are fully set.
To easily remove them, dip the bottom of the molds in warm water for 10-15 seconds.
Serve immediately and enjoy a smooth, chocolatey treat!
