Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Bake 🍝🍗
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (use rotisserie chicken for easy prep)
12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni works best)
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add the shredded chicken to the sauce and mix well.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the garlic Parmesan sauce. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve!
