🟠 Trapizzino
A Roman street food specialty—triangular pizza pockets stuffed with tomato sauce and cheese.
Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp dry yeast
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 tsp olive oil
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
• Dried oregano for garnish
Instructions
1️⃣ Mix flour, yeast, water, oil, and salt into a dough, knead well, and let rise for 1 hour.
2️⃣ Roll the dough into small rounds and fold them into triangles, sealing the edges.
3️⃣ Place on a baking sheet, spoon tomato sauce over each, and sprinkle with cheese.
4️⃣ Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden.
5️⃣ Garnish with oregano and serve warm.
