Valentine's Day Boozy Dessert Shots
Ingredients:
1 cup red gelatin mix (e.g., strawberry or raspberry Jello)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup vodka (or flavored vodka like strawberry)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup strawberry liqueur (e.g., Baileys Strawberries & Cream or Chambord)
White chocolate hearts (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Red Gelatin Base:
Dissolve the red gelatin mix in boiling water.
Add vodka to the mixture and stir well.
Pour the gelatin mixture into the bottom of shot glasses, filling them about 1/4 of the way.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until the gelatin sets.
Make the Pink Mousse Layer:
Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold in the strawberry liqueur to create a light, boozy mousse.
Spoon or pipe the pink mousse over the set red gelatin in each shot glass, filling almost to the top.
Add the Whipped Cream:
Using a piping bag or spoon, add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the pink mousse.
Garnish:
Place a white chocolate heart garnish on top of the whipped cream for a festive finish.
Serve and Enjoy:
Chill the dessert shots until ready to serve.
