½ cup vegetable oil

1 cup boiling water

1️⃣ Prepare Cake Pans: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. Line bottoms with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Make the Batter: Sift flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Gradually mix wet ingredients into the dry. Stir in boiling water until smooth.
