Creamy Honey Garlic Chicken Bites Linguine
Tender Chicken Bites in Sweet and Savory Honey Garlic Sauce Over Linguine
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Bites:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp paprika
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
3 tbsp honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Linguine:
8 oz linguine pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt, to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the honey garlic sauce.
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to combine the pasta with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Serve with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish.
