Grilled Lobster and Shrimp 🍤
Indulge in a delicious seafood feast with tender grilled lobster tails and shrimp, all perfectly coated in a rich garlic butter marinade. This dish is ideal for a special meal or a celebratory occasion!
Ingredients:
2 lobster tails
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Lobster Tails and Shrimp:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping at the base. Gently pry the shell open and lift the lobster meat, placing it on top of the shell for a beautiful presentation.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and set them aside.
2️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. This will be your flavorful marinade.
3️⃣ Marinate and Grill:
Generously brush the lobster tails and shrimp with the garlic butter marinade.
Place the lobster tails, meat side up, on the preheated grill. Grill for 10-12 minutes, basting occasionally with the garlic butter, until the lobster meat turns opaque and is fully cooked.
Add the shrimp to the grill during the last 5 minutes of cooking, grilling for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
4️⃣ Serve:
Remove the lobster tails and shrimp from the grill and arrange them on a serving platter.
Drizzle any remaining garlic butter marinade over the seafood and garnish with extra chopped parsley.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
