Ingredients

- 6 small round bread rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, sliced jalapeños, chopped cilantro

Instructions

1. Prepare the Bread Bowls:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the tops off the bread rolls and hollow out the insides to create bowls. Place them on a baking sheet.

2. Cook the Chili:
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Add the diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

3. Assemble the Bread Bowls:
