🥓 Creamy Bacon Parmesan Tortellini
Ingredients:
1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
6 slices bacon, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan chees
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook Tortellini
Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook Bacon:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, reserving 1 tbsp of bacon grease in the pan.
3️⃣ Make Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute more.
Slowly pour in heavy cream, whisking constantly until smooth.
4️⃣ Add Cheese and Season:
Stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
5️⃣ Combine:
Add cooked tortellini and bacon to the sauce. Toss gently to coat.
6️⃣ Serve:
Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
