Honey BBQ Ribs Recipe
I’ve been making these ribs all summer and they always turn out so tender and full of sweet, tangy flavor. They’re perfect for sharing at a backyard get-together or just treating yourself to a cozy dinner. Here’s how to make them:
Ingredients
1. 2 pounds of pork ribs, trimmed
2. 1 teaspoon of salt
3. 1 teaspoon of black pepper
4. 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
5. 1 teaspoon of onion powder
6. 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
7. 1/4 cup of honey
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and set them on a baking sheet.
2. In a small bowl, stir together the BBQ sauce, honey, garlic powder and onion powder until smooth.
3. Brush about half of the sauce mixture onto the ribs, then seal the foil and bake for two hours.
4. Carefully open the foil, brush on the remaining sauce, and switch your oven to broil.
5. Broil the ribs for about five minutes until the sauce bubbles and caramelizes—watch them closely so they don’t burn.
6. Let the ribs rest for ten minutes before slicing between the bones.
Serve these sticky sweet ribs with a side of coleslaw or grilled corn. You’ll love how the meat just pulls right off the bone and melts in your mouth.
