🍪 Best-Ever Chocolate Cookies
🧂 Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking powder (optional, for a little lift)
Pinch of salt
Melted chocolate (for drizzling or dipping)
Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks
🔧 Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment.
In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.
Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder (if using). Mix until combined.
Scoop dough onto tray (about 1.5 tbsp per cookie).
Bake for 11–12 minutes. Let cool 5 min.
Drizzle with melted chocolate once cooled, or dip for extra decadence!
