π Pineapple Pecan Cheese Ball π°
Ingredients
16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened
8 oz (225g) crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
2 tbsp finely minced onion
A pinch of garlic salt
1 cup (120g) finely chopped pecans
Assorted dippers: crackers, fresh fruit slices, veggie sticks, or bread slices
Instructions
Prepare the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crushed pineapple, minced onion, and a pinch of garlic salt. Stir until everything is evenly blended and smooth.
Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour. This helps the flavors meld and makes the mixture easier to shape.
Shape the Cheese Ball: Once chilled, scoop the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Use your hands to shape it into a ball, ensuring itβs compact and even.
Coat with Pecans: Spread the chopped pecans on a plate or tray. Gently roll the cheese ball in the pecans, pressing lightly to ensure they stick to the surface.
Final Chill: Wrap the coated cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate until youβre ready to serve. This can be done several hours in advance or even the night before.
Serve and Enjoy: Place the cheese ball on a serving platter and surround it with your favorite dippers like crackers, fresh fruit, veggie sticks, or bread slices.
