Epic Greek Chicken Gyros with Homemade Tzatziki 🥙🔥

🛒 Ingredients:
For the chicken marinade:
2 chicken breasts, sliced 🍗
2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
Juice of 1 lemon 🍋
2 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
1 tsp dried oregano 🌿
Salt & pepper to taste
For the tzatziki sauce:
1/2 cup Greek yogurt 🥣
1/2 cucumber, grated & drained 🥒
1 garlic clove, finely minced 🧄
1 tbsp olive oil 🫒
1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or parsley 🌿
1 tsp lemon juice 🍋
Salt to taste
To assemble:
2–3 pita or flatbreads 🫓
Sliced tomato 🍅
Sliced red onion 🧅
Chopped romaine or lettuce 🥬

Marinate the chicken with olive oil, lemon, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes. Grill or pan-sear until golden and cooked through, then slice. For tzatziki, mix all ingredients in a bowl and chill. Warm the pita or flatbread, layer with lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, onions, and a generous dollop of tzatziki. Roll it up or serve open-style. Enjoy fresh and warm!
