🍅 Burrata Caprese Bruschetta on Grilled Flatbread 🧀🌿
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
1 flatbread or naan
1 small ball of burrata cheese
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1–2 tbsp red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & freshly cracked black pepper
1 tbsp balsamic glaze (or reduction)
Optional: pinch of dried oregano
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
Grill the Flatbread:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high. Lightly brush the flatbread with olive oil and grill until charred in spots and warm (about 2–3 mins per side). Set aside.
Sauté the Tomatoes & Onions:
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and add cherry tomatoes and red onion. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until tomatoes are blistered and onions are soft. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
Assemble the Bruschetta:
Place the grilled flatbread on a plate. Tear the burrata gently and spread it over the center. Top with warm tomato-onion mixture.
Finishing Touch:
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a generous drizzle of balsamic glaze. Crack some fresh pepper over the top for that perfect finishing hit.
