Ingredients:
For the Pasta:
12 oz penne pasta
Salt (for boiling water)
For the Cajun Cream Sauce:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1/2 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1/2 lb smoked sausage (sliced)
1 bell pepper (chopped – mix red & green)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta
🍝 Boil penne in salted water until al dente (about 10 minutes).
Drain and set aside.
2. Sauté the Sausage & Shrimp
🔥 In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add sausage and sear until browned (about 3 mins).
Push to the side and add shrimp. Season with Cajun seasoning.
Cook until shrimp are pink (2–3 mins). Remove both and set aside.
3. Sauté Veggies & Make Sauce
🧄 In the same pan, melt butter.
Add bell peppers and garlic. Sauté 2–3 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in Parmesan and more Cajun seasoning to taste. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened.
4. Combine Everything
🥣 Add pasta, shrimp, and sausage back into the pan.
Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
5. Serve & Garnish
Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
