Instructions

Prep the Apples: Peel, core, and slice the apples uniformly to ensure even cooking. Place them in a single layer at the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
Layer the Flavor: Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the apples. Drizzle with vanilla extract, then sprinkle the cornstarch over the top. Dot the surface with butter cubesβ€”no need to stir yet.
