Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 28-ounce bag of shoestring French fries
- 10.5-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup
- 10.5-ounce can of cheddar cheese soup
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Burger Sauce Ingredients:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- ½ teaspoon dehydrated onions
- Black pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent.
4. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.
5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and cheddar cheese soup.
6. Add the cooked beef mixture to the soups and stir until well combined.
7. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, dehydrated onions, and black pepper to make the burger sauce. Set aside.
8. Spread half of the shoestring French fries evenly in the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
9. Pour half of the beef and soup mixture over the fries, spreading evenly.
10. Drizzle half of the burger sauce over the beef layer.
11. Repeat layers with remaining fries, beef mixture, and burger sauce.
12. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
13. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.
14. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
