Gordon Ramsay Steak Marinade
Ingredients:
2 (8-ounce) ribeye or sirloin steaks
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Instructions:
Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary leaves, black pepper, and sea salt.
Marinate the steaks: Place the steaks in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.
Grill or pan-sear: Preheat your grill or pan to high heat. Remove steaks from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Grill or pan-sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.
Rest and serve: Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing, allowing the juices to redistribute. Serve with any remaining marinade drizzled over the top.
