Dandelion Bread π―π
Ingredients:
1 cup clean dandelion petals (yellow parts only, loosely packed)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1 1/4 cups milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup honey
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and lightly flour a standard 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently stir in the dandelion petals, making sure they are evenly distributed.
In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, oil, and honey until smooth and well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45β50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
