Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies
Servings: 12
Calories: Approximately 250 per brownie
Ingredients:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients needed per package instructions)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- Chopped Milky Way candy bars (optional)
- Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Directions:
1. Begin by preheating your oven as directed on the brownie mix box. Prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan by greasing it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
2. Make the brownie mix according to the instructions on the package and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Beat the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy.
4. Gently pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the two mixtures together for a marbled effect.
5. If you desire, sprinkle chopped Milky Way bars on top of the cream cheese layer and drizzle caramel sauce over it.
6. Bake in the preheated oven as instructed by the brownie mix instructions, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
7. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing them into squares. Serve and enjoy!
