One-Skillet Cheesy Garlic Butter Linguine with Beef
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
8 oz linguine pasta
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water for later.
While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Stir in the cooked linguine, allowing it to absorb the creamy sauce. Add the reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the pasta is well coated in the cheesy sauce.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately for a delicious, comforting meal.
