Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
Ingredients :
1 large orange (peeled and segmented, or 1/2 cup of 100% orange juice)
1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt (or vanilla yogurt for extra sweetness)
1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1/2 frozen banana (for creaminess and natural sweetness)
1/2 cup of ice cubes
Optional: 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (for added sweetness)
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients
Peel and segment the orange, removing any seeds. If using orange juice, measure out 1/2 cup.
Blend
Add the orange segments (or orange juice), Greek yogurt, almond milk, vanilla extract, frozen banana, and ice cubes to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Taste and Adjust
Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if desired for extra sweetness. Blend again briefly to combine.
Serve and Enjoy
Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with an orange slice or a sprinkle of orange zest for a fun touch.
