American Goulash
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
3. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
4. Add macaroni and cook for 10-12 minutes, until pasta is tender.
5. Season with salt and pepper, then serve warm.
