Golden Oven-Baked Chicken Wings with a Crunch
Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken wings (party pack recommended)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top.
Pat the chicken wings dry thoroughly using paper towels—this step is key to getting them crispy.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne (if using).
Arrange the coated wings on the rack in a single layer, making sure they’re not touching.
Bake for 25 minutes, flip them, and bake for another 20–25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
