Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces fettuccine pasta
Pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the Cajun seasoning and stir to combine.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Sprinkle the flour over the butter and whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.
