Ingredients:
4 slices of thick-cut bread (challah or brioche recommended)
2 ripe bananas, sliced
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Nutella
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of cinnamon
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Maple syrup or whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Caramelize the Bananas: In a small skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the sliced bananas and brown sugar. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the bananas are softened and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
