Creamy Garlic Butter Beef and Bowtie Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
3 teaspoons olive oil
5-6 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
3 tablespoons butter
3 cups beef broth
8 oz Bowtie Pasta
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spatula until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Add the garlic and onion to the skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the spices to blend.
Add the butter to the skillet, and once it melts, pour in the beef broth and bring it to a simmer.
Add the Bowtie pasta to the skillet, stirring it into the sauce. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and has absorbed some of the broth.
Lower the heat and stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and half and half. Cook for 2-3 more minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and become creamy.
Adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
