Cinnamon Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups sliced apples (use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Place sliced apples in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, then pour water evenly over the apples.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter, flour, and remaining sugar until crumbly.
4. Spread the crumbly mixture evenly over the apples.
5. Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and apples are bubbly and tender.
