Ingredients:
1 (21-ounce) can strawberry pie filling 🍓
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 🧀
1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍬
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🌿
1 box white or yellow cake mix 🌾
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted 🧈
Optional: Fresh strawberries for garnish 🍓
Directions:
Prepare the Base:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture over the strawberry pie filling, spreading gently.
Add the Cake Mix:
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the cream cheese and strawberry layers.
Add the Butter:
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, ensuring most of the dry mix is moistened.
Bake:
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Serve:
Let the cake cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
