Creamy Garlic Parmesan Steak and Seafood Skillet
Ingredients:
2 ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1/4 cup chicken broth (optional, for thinning sauce if needed)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear them in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your preferred doneness. Remove steaks from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the shrimp. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steaks.
Reduce the heat to medium, add butter to the skillet along with minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian herbs, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens. If the sauce is too thick, stir in chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.
Return the cooked steaks and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the garlic Parmesan sauce over them. Let everything simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
