Overnight Crème Brûlée French Toast 🍞🍁💛
Ingredients:
1 loaf French bread
5 eggs
1 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup
Instructions:
In a saucepan, melt butter and mix in sugar and syrup until smooth.
Pour into greased dish. Top with sliced bread.
Mix eggs, dairy, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350°F for 35–40 minutes until puffed and golden.
Let cool briefly before serving upside-down to show the caramel top.
