Wow, this is my first time trying roast beef in the air fryer, and I wanted it rare. Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth 😋.
Ingredients
900g roast beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons rosemary and thyme (fresh or dried)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
Mix the sea salt, rosemary, and oil on a plate.
Dab the roast beef with paper towels. Place the roast on the plate and turn it over so that the oil and herb mixture coats the outside of the beef.
If using an onion, peel and cut it in half. Place the onion halves in the air fryer basket. Place the roast beef in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to cook the beef for 5 minutes.
Slice the roast beef thinly across the grain and serve with roasted or steamed vegetables, wholegrain mustard, and gravy.
