This is what food dreams are made of โ juicy smash patties layered with gooey cheese, crispy bacon, a creamy special sauce, and buttery buns. Served up with thick-cut seasoned steak fries and sweet โn sticky BBQ wings thatโll have you licking your fingers AND the plate. ๐ฏ
๐ Ingredients
For the Smash Burger:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
4 slices cheddar or American cheese
4 slices cooked bacon
2 soft brioche burger buns
Butter (for toasting buns)
Caramelized onions (optional but ๐ฅ)
For the Special Sauce:
ยผ cup mayo
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mustard
1 tbsp relish or chopped pickles
Dash of smoked paprika
Pinch of sugar
For the Fries:
3 large russet potatoes, cut into wedges
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
ยฝ tsp garlic powder
ยฝ tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
For the BBQ Wings:
1ยฝ lbs chicken wings
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
1 tbsp baking powder (for crispiness)
ยฝ cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Optional: honey or hot sauce for a sticky-sweet twist
๐ฅ Instructions1. Make the Fries:
Toss potato wedges with oil and seasonings. Bake at 425ยฐF for 30โ35 mins, flipping halfway until crispy and golden. Garnish with parsley if youโre fancy ๐ง
2. Bake or Air-Fry the Wings:
Pat wings dry and toss with seasonings + baking powder. Bake at 425ยฐF for 45โ50 mins or air fry at 400ยฐF for 25 mins.
Toss in BBQ sauce (and honey or hot sauce if desired). Return to oven or air fryer for 5 more mins to caramelize ๐ฎโ๐จ
3. Mix the Sauce:
Stir all special sauce ingredients together until smooth. Chill until ready to use.
4. Smash the Burgers:
Heat skillet/griddle to high heat. Roll ground beef into 2 oz balls, place on the pan, and smash flat with a spatula.
Season and cook 2โ3 mins, then flip, add cheese, and cook another 1โ2 mins.
Toast buns with butter until golden.
5. Build the Burger:
