Easy Cream Puff Dessert 😋🍫
Ingredients:
1 cup water
½ cup butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 eggs
8 oz cream cheese, softened
4 cups milk, divided
3 (3.4 oz) packages Instant French Vanilla Pudding
8 oz whipped topping, defrosted (like Cool Whip)
Chocolate syrup, as needed (for drizzle)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a medium saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and add flour all at once. Stir vigorously until mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth.
Spread dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool completely.
In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with 1 cup of milk until smooth. Add remaining 3 cups of milk and instant pudding mix. Beat until thick and creamy (about 2–3 minutes).
Spread pudding mixture over the cooled crust. Top with an even layer of whipped topping.
Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top before serving. Chill for at least 2 hours before slicing.
