🍫 Caramel Chocolate Tiramisu 🍮
A decadent twist on the classic—layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, rich chocolate ganache, and buttery caramel.
Ingredients
For the Cream Layer
8 oz mascarpone cheese, room temperature 🧀
1 cup heavy cream 🥛
⅓ cup powdered sugar 🍥
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Assembly
24 ladyfinger cookies (Savoiardi) 🍪
1 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled ☕
¼ cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling) 🍯
¼ cup chocolate ganache or melted chocolate 🍫
For the Topping
Extra chocolate ganache (or dark chocolate curls)
Caramel sauce for drizzling
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
🧁 Make the Cream Layer
In a bowl, beat mascarpone with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the cream to stiff peaks, then gently fold into the mascarpone mixture until fluffy.
☕ Dip the Ladyfingers
Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso (1–2 seconds per side). Don't oversoak.
🧱 Layer It Up
In a square or rectangular dish, lay down a layer of espresso-dipped ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone cream on top. Drizzle lightly with caramel and ganache.
🔁 Repeat
Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, the remaining cream, and another drizzle of caramel and ganache.
❄️ Chill to Set
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for the flavors to meld and layers to firm.
🍫 Finish and Decorate
Just before serving, top with more ganache, a generous caramel drizzle, chocolate curls or shards, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
