Grilled Tomatoes
**Ingredients:
- 2 lbs tomatoes (preferably ripe and firm)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
**Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. Slice tomatoes in half (or thick slices if preferred).
3. Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
4. Brush the mixture over the cut side of the tomatoes.
5. Grill tomatoes cut side down for 3–4 minutes, then flip and grill for another 2–3 minutes until softened and slightly charred.
6. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
