🧀 Cheesy Cabbage Casserole
🧂 You Will Need:
1 small green cabbage, chopped
1 medium Vidalia onion, chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo (or more sour cream for lighter taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional: 1/4 tsp paprika or red pepper flakes
1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs (for topping)
1 tbsp melted butter
🔧 Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13” casserole dish.
In a skillet, sauté cabbage and onion with a bit of olive oil until softened (5–7 mins).
In a bowl, mix cabbage/onion, cheese, sour cream, mayo, and seasonings.
Spread mixture in casserole dish.
Toss cracker crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
Bake for 30–35 mins or until golden and bubbly.
