Surf and Turf with Cajun Shrimp and Creamy Sauce 🥩🍤✨

Ingredients:

For the Steak:
• 2 filet mignons (6 ounces each)
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Cajun Shrimp:
• 6 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
• 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Creamy Sauce:
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth
• 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
• Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or cook to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

2️⃣ In the same skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil. Toss the shrimp in Cajun seasoning and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and fully cooked. Set aside.

3️⃣ Reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter in the skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the chicken or seafood broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

4️⃣ Plate the steaks and top with the cooked Cajun shrimp. Spoon the creamy sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.
