Velvety Lemon Dill Salmon Pasta with Tender Broccoli
Ingredients:

8 oz penne pasta
2 salmon fillets, skin removed
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets to the pasta water 2 minutes before the pasta is done. Drain and set aside.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Slowly whisk in grated Parmesan cheese and let the sauce thicken slightly. Add the fresh dill and red pepper flakes (optional) for a touch of heat.
Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and return to the skillet along with the cooked pasta and broccoli. Gently toss to coat everything in the creamy lemon dill sauce.
Serve warm, garnished with extra dill and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
