Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce
This unique and flavorful pasta dish combines the flavors of a classic cheesesteak with creamy tortellini and a rich provolone sauce.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef or thinly sliced steak
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 pound cheese tortellini
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 pound provolone cheese, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook Beef: In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, and bell pepper over medium-high heat until beef is browned and vegetables are softened. Drain any excess grease.
Cook Tortellini: Cook tortellini according to package directions.
Make Sauce: Add heavy cream and provolone cheese to the skillet. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
Combine: Add cooked tortellini to the skillet. Toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve: Serve immediately.
