Savory Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp Surf & Turf Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (10-12 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp butter (for basting)
- 1/2 lb (225g) shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:
1. Prepare the Steak:
Pat steaks dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Preheat a grill or pan over high heat. Sear steaks for 4-5 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to desired doneness. During the last minute, add butter and baste the steaks. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

2. Cook the Shrimp:
In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter and add garlic. Add shrimp and season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred. Stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley.
