🌶️🧀 Jalapeño Popper Sausage Balls

Yields: ~25 sausage balls
🧂 Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1 cup all-purpose baking mix (like Bisquick)
2–3 jalapeños, finely diced (remove seeds for less heat)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Optional: chopped cooked bacon (about 1/4 cup) for an extra flavor kick
🔪 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix everything: In a large bowl, combine sausage, shredded cheddar, cream cheese, baking mix, jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until thoroughly combined. (Hands work best for this!)
Shape into balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve hot with ranch, chipotle mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce
