Buffalo Chicken Garbage Bread
INGREDIENTS:
2 boneless chicken breasts
1 tsp. olive oil
1 pizza dough (store bought, let it sit out for about 20 minutes)
8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese (part skim)
3 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Franks Wing Sauce
1/3 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cook the Chicken: Cut the chicken into cubes and season with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the chicken. Cook thoroughly, then add 1/4 cup of wing sauce. Stir to coat and let simmer for a minute or two. Remove from heat and let cool.
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Prepare the Dough: On a well-floured surface, spread the pizza dough into a long rectangle shape. Spread the ranch or blue cheese dressing and the remaining 1/4 cup of wing sauce evenly over the dough.
Assemble the Bread: Add the cooled chicken, then top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Optionally, drizzle a bit more wing sauce over the cheese if you want it spicier.
Roll the Dough: Roll the dough like a pinwheel until you reach the end. Tuck the ends of the dough in to prevent the middle from oozing out during baking.
Bake: Spray a baking sheet with a light coat of non-stick cooking spray. Place the rolled dough on the baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool and Serve: Let the bread sit for five minutes, then cut into slices and enjoy!
Tips:
Some ovens cook differently, so if you find the bread browns too quickly and the inside is still raw, try placing the rack in the middle of the oven. You can also lower the temperature to 400°F (200°C), but it may take a bit longer to cook.
