The Best Canned Salmon Patties

Ingredients (Makes 4 patties)
1 (14.75 oz) can salmon, drained (bones/skin removed)
⅓ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
2 green onions, chopped
¼ cup celery, finely diced
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten
4 tbsp butter (for frying)
Garnish: Lemon wedges, fresh dill
(Optional add-ins: 1 tsp Dijon mustard, ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning)
Instructions
Prep Salmon: Drain and flake salmon, removing bones/skin.
Mix: Combine salmon, breadcrumbs, onions, celery, mayo, and egg.
Form Patties: Shape into 4 even patties (about ½” thick).
Cook: Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Fry patties 3-4 mins per side until golden.
