Fried Chicken Caesar Salad Tacos
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 small soft taco shells
2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup Caesar dressing
Grated Parmesan cheese
Croutons (optional)
Directions:
Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Coat the chicken with the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss chopped lettuce with Caesar dressing.
Slice the fried chicken and place on the taco shells.
Top with Caesar salad, Parmesan cheese, and croutons if desired.
