Mediterranean Chicken Gyros with Creamy Feta Tzatziki
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
1 lb chicken thighs, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
For Tzatziki:
1 cup Greek yogurt
½ cucumber, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving:
Pita bread
Sliced tomatoes and red onion
Directions:
Cook Chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil. Season chicken with oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 7-8 minutes until golden.
Make Tzatziki: In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, feta, salt, and pepper.
Assemble Gyros: On pita bread, layer cooked chicken, tzatziki, tomatoes, and onions.
Serve: Wrap and enjoy your Mediterranean feast!
