🥮 Galette Comtoise (Franche-Comté Cake) 🎂
A light regional cake made with choux-style dough, eggs, and flavored with vanilla.
Ingredients:
• 250 ml milk
• 100 g flour
• 50 g butter
• 3 eggs
• 80 g sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Butter a round cake tin.
2️⃣ Heat milk, butter, and salt together until simmering.
3️⃣ Add flour all at once, stirring vigorously until dough forms a ball.
4️⃣ Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
5️⃣ Beat in eggs one by one, then add sugar and vanilla.
6️⃣ Spread batter into the prepared tin.
7️⃣ Bake 30–35 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
8️⃣ Serve warm or at room temperature.
